Energy Plus Income Trust Announces Distribution

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 23, 2008) - Energy Plus Income Trust (TSX: EPF-UN.TO) (the "Fund") reports the distribution to unitholders of record at the close of business on July 31, 2008 and payable August 15, 2008 is $0.0833 Cdn per trust unit.

Throughout the month of June 2008, Energy Plus repurchased 25,700 units under its mandatory repurchase program when the Fund traded at a discount greater than 5%.

As at July 17, 2008, the Fund's net asset value was $8.19 Cdn per trust unit. The current portfolio consists of 71% oil & gas royalty trusts, 26% oil & gas service trusts, and 3% energy corporations.
