Electronic Evidence Discovery Ranked as Top 5 Service Provider for Experience in 2008 Socha-Gelbmann Survey

KIRKLAND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Electronic Evidence Discovery, Inc. (EED®), a leading national provider of eDiscovery services, today announced that it, and its recent acquisition, Daticon, have been included as top vendors in the 2008 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey. EEDs extensive expertise in handling large and complex cases earned it a Top Five ranking in the Experience category as well as Top 10 honors in four additional categories. Daticon was recognized as a Top 10 provider in the Experience and Production categories.

The 2008 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey is conducted by independent consultants George Socha and Tom Gelbmann and examines the demands for, and consumption of, commercial Electronic Data Discovery (EDD) services and software. EDD includes activities surrounding the identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, production and presentation of information of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). For the 2008 survey, Socha-Gelbmann gathered information from 155 organizations107 services and software providers, 29 law firms and 19 corporationsand from secondary sources. In total, it evaluated 350 separate categories and subcategories of information to arrive at the various rankings.
