Biosign announces new leadership

TORONTO, June 24 /CNW/ - Biosign Technologies Inc. (the "Company", "Biosign") (CNQ: BIOS) announced today that its board of directors has named Dr. David Silver as chairman, asked Dr. Radu Leca to assume the CEO role, and welcomed Tony LaVista as director.

Both Silver and Leca are veteran board members, most knowledgeable about the company's operations and strategy. Silver is a Principal Senior Scientist at Johns Hopkins University, with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Leca is Biosign's founding president and creator of its core technology.

LaVista is a Senior Account Manager at Royal Bank of Canada and a founder of Royal Bank's Knowledge Based Industries (KBI) group. After more than ten years with the KBI team, LaVista is a recognized expert who truly understands clients' needs within the high technology sector.

The board appreciated that Biosign has the foundation, the opportunity, and the capability to deliver profitable growth.
