Astral Media invites the public to the Media's Big Food Drive

Astral Media's television, radio and outdoor advertising groups to

operate three collection points for the Media's Big Food Drive 2008 on

December 4

MONTREAL, Nov. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Astral Media Inc. (TSX: ACM.A/ACM.B) is pleased to announce that it will participate in the Media's Big Food Drive for the seventh consecutive year. For the event, the Astral Media family will operate three collection points in the streets of Montréal - at the corners of Ste-Catherine and Atwater, Ste-Catherine and de Bleury and Papineau and René-Lévesque. Many Astral Media volunteers and personalities will greet drivers and pedestrians from 6 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 4.

Astral Media is also happy to announce that Chélie Sauvé-Castonguay, host of MP6, La playlist de..., and Accorde ton look on MusiquePlus, will act the Media's Big Food Drive spokesperson for the Astral Media family.

The Media's Big Food Drive will be held on Thursday, December 4 throughout Québec. Working with all of Québec's media outlets, Astral Media hopes to fill the pantries of people in need this holiday season. With its theme, "If you can, give," the Media's Big Food Drive will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations on behalf of local charities.
