NEW YORK, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AllianceBernstein National Municipal Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: AFB), a closed-end management investment company, declared on this date, November 24, 2009, a monthly distribution of $0.0775* per share of Common Stock, payable December 18, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 4, 2009. Exdate will be December 2, 2009.

(* )The monthly distribution rate is $0.0775, which represents an increase of $0.002 from the $0.0755 per share previously paid by the Fund. This increase is intended to align the Fund's monthly distribution with its current and projected earning power.
