TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell on Tuesday, pulled lower by weakness in energy and materials producers, and weighed down by data showing a slow recovery in the United States.

TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell on Tuesday, pulled lower by weakness in energy and materials producers, and weighed down by data showing a slow recovery in the United States.

The S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 72.26 points, or 0.62 percent, at 11,551.76.
