Castle Resources Inc. Completes Filing Statement

(TSX VENTURE: CRI.V) ("Castle" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has filed its filing statement (the "Filing Statement") dated September 11, 2008 on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com. The Filing Statement provides disclosure on the proposed acquisition (the "Acquisition") of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Legends of Cobalt Corporation ("LOC") as previously disclosed in a press release dated May 15, 2008. Pursuant to an amending agreement (the "Amending Agreement") dated July 29, 2008 among Castle, LOC and the shareholders of LOC (the "LOC Shareholders"), the parties thereto agreed to reduce the consideration paid by Castle to the LOC Shareholders pursuant to the Acquisition from 20,037,000 common shares of Castle to 15,000,000 common shares of Castle. The closing of the Acquisition is currently scheduled to occur on or about October 9, 2008. In addition, the technical report prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects by Micon International Limited dated February 19, 2008 on the Peterson Lake Project is also available on the SEDAR website.
