Allot Launches ServiceProtector to Guarantee Service Continuity and Ensure Network Integrity

(NASDAQ: ALLT), a leader in IP service optimization & revenue generation solutions based on deep packet inspection (DPI), today announced the launch of the ServiceProtector 4.0, the first security product resulting from the acquisition of Esphion Limited in January this year. The ServiceProtector identifies malicious traffic and enables isolation of infected subscribers allowing legitimate traffic to flow unimpeded, at 10 Gbps speeds.

With malicious activities, such as Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS), Zero Day and zombie attacks, worm propagation and spambots, constantly on the rise, service providers are increasingly challenged to prevent damage to both their infrastructures and service quality. They are primarily concerned with keeping their mail service off the domain blacklists and preserving its legitimate standing.

Allot's ServiceProtector is self-contained security solution that enables service providers to control and reduce the operational and infrastructure costs involved in mitigation of such security threats.
