Emrise Corporation Receives $1.0 Million in New Orders for In-Flight Entertainment Products
Tue Nov 25, 8:47 AMRANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca: ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received $1.0 million in new orders for electronic devices and subsystems to be used in commercial In-Flight Entertainment and Communication (IFE&C) systems. Shipments of these orders are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2009 and continue through the first half of 2009.
EMRISE President and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva said, “These orders are for an extension of a major program from an established customer for new and retrofit IFE&C installations in commercial aircraft programs. We continue to see strength in our orders from the commercial aircraft business segment for IFE&C programs and for many other on-board commercial aircraft programs for which we provide products.”
The Company’s Pascall Electronics Ltd. (Pascall) subsidiary located in England received the new IFE&C orders. Pascall provides a range of power systems, RF devices and integrated subsystems for traditional IFE and new generation multimedia IFE&C systems, including video on demand and GSM communications products for retrofit and new-build applications.
