Kentucky USA Energy, Inc. Announces Permit Approvals and Commences Drilling
Thu Jun 26, 9:03 AMLONDON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kentucky USA Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: KYUS), an early stage natural gas exploration and production company, announced today that the Company has received the first 2 permits of the 5 permit applications submitted to drill on the previously identified initial well sites in its New Albany Shale leasehold in western Kentucky. The Company anticipates approval of the rest of the submitted permit applications shortly. In addition, the Company has contracted with a local drill rig operator to drill the initial wells on the Companys leasehold. Spud-in and initial drilling commenced on the Francis Grace #1 location on June 20th. The Companys management expects to complete drilling on the Francis Grace #1 location to its targeted depth within the next 7 to 10 days.
