TORONTO, Aug. 26 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX: LUX.TO) today announced that Christopher Carl has resigned as a member of the Company's Board of Directors, effective August 21, 2008.
Mr Carl advised the Company that while he was reluctant to conclude his role as a Luxell Director, the demands on his time as President and Chief Executive Officer of BioExx Extraction Inc., have begun to outweigh his ability to devote as much time to Luxell as he believes is required of a director of a public company.
Jean-Louis Larmor, Luxell's CEO and also a Director of the Corporation, commented, "Chris Carl has been a key and valuable member of our Board of Directors for the past year and we are fortunate to have benefitted from his energy, experience and advice as we continued the restructuring of Luxell. I join the other directors in wishing him well in his future endeavors."
