Laurentian Bank - Dividend notice

MONTREAL, Aug. 27 /CNW Telbec/ - At its meeting held on August 27, 2008, the Board of Directors of the Laurentian Bank of Canada has declared the following dividends:

a dividend of $0.375 on the preferred shares Series 9, payable on

September 15, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on

September 9, 2008; and

a dividend of $0.328125 on the preferred shares Series 10, payable on

September 15, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on

September 9, 2008.

For the year 2008, all dividends declared will be eligible dividends, unless otherwise indicated. The dividends declared on August 27, 2008, are eligible dividends for income tax legislation purposes.
