GetThere Appoints Grant Rattray to Lead Asia-Pacific Division

In his new role, Mr. Rattray is responsible for GetThere’s business across the region, including marketing, sales, and service to corporations and travel management companies

The appointment of Mr. Rattray, who previously focused on GetThere and corporate strategy for three years with Sabre Pacific, represents a sharper focus on growing GetThere’s corporate travel procurement business in the APAC region. Mr. Rattray brings a wide range of experience in sales, marketing and strategic development, having served in the travel and liquor industries for the past eight years.

Prior to Sabre Pacific, Mr. Rattray spent more than four years with Thrifty Car Rental as the company’s business development manager covering the corporate market and then as online manager, where he was responsible for sales and marketing for the Web, corporate partnerships and loyalty programs.
