The 28-city tour, which kicked off at the 2008 Super Bowl, consists of a series of events held around the country to educate consumers about innovative technology from Microsoft that is being offered in select Ford vehicles, enabling drivers to interact with their automobile via voice commands and buttons mounted on the steering wheel. The interactive, multi-media events showcase the key features of SYNC which include voice-activation, hands-free calling, uninterrupted connections, audible text messages, advanced calling features, voice-activated music, instant voice recognition, ring tone support, automatic phonebook transfer and multilingual intelligence.
