PERTH, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2008) - Crescent Gold Limited (TSX: CRA.TO)(ASX: CRE.AX)(FRANKFURT:CRE5) -

Tookie Angus has served as a Non Executive Director since 4 November 2005 and has played a significant role in the development of Crescent Gold Limited.

Tookie has advised the Company that due to demands from other business interests he is unable to continue his directorship with Crescent.

The Board wishes to thank Tookie for his support over these past few years and with regret announce that Tookie Angus has tendered his resignation effective 28 April 2008.
