Energy Plus Income Trust Announces Distribution

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - Energy Plus Income Trust (TSX: EPF-UN.TO) (the "Fund") reports the distribution to unitholders of record at the close of business on April 30, 2008 and payable May 15, 2008 is $0.0833 Cdn per trust unit.

Throughout the month of March 2008, Energy Plus repurchased 48,600 units under its mandatory repurchase program when the Fund traded at a discount greater than 5%.

As at April 17, 2008, the Fund's net asset value was $8.14 Cdn per trust unit. The current portfolio consists of 65% oil & gas royalty trusts, 33% oil & gas service trusts, and 2% energy corporations.
