TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose 1 percent on Monday morning as higher oil prices boosted its big energy sector, while financial shares gained on optimism about economic recovery.
At 10:19 a.m., the S&P/TSX composite index was up 106.71 points, or 1.03 percent, at 10,496.47.
