Toronto stocks slip on slow economy

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index slipped on Friday after a government report confirmed sluggish economic growth, while tech shares fell on concerns about weakening business spending.

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index slipped on Friday after a government report confirmed sluggish economic growth, while tech shares fell on concerns about weakening business spending.

The S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 22.33 points, or 0.16 percent, at 13,728.15.
