High Desert Gold Corporation Announces Termination of Option Agreement on the Markham Wash Copper Property
Fri May 30, 5:30 PMVANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 30, 2008) - High Desert Gold Corporation ("HDG" or the "Company") (TSX: HDG.TO)(TSX: HDG-WT.TO), today announced that it has received notice from Teck Cominco American Incorporated ("TCAI"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Teck Cominco Limited, that TCAI is terminating its option agreement on the Markham Wash copper property located in central Arizona. TCAI completed a program that included geological mapping, sampling, a geophysical survey and drilled two holes on the property. HDG will review the Markham Wash information when it is received from TCAI.
