Jaguar announces results of annual and special meeting of shareholders

TORONTO, June 30 /CNW/ - Jaguar Financial Inc. ("Jaguar") (TSX: JFI.TO) announced the election of the following Directors at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held today: Vic Alboini, Doug Fowler, Joe Panetta, and Richard Pinkerton.

The shareholders also approved a transaction which, once completed, will result in Jaguar being governed by the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) (the "Continuance"). In connection with the Continuance, Jaguar's name will change to "Jaguar Financial Corporation" and its TSX trading symbol will become JFC. The Continuance is expected to close on July 2, 2008, and the change of TSX trading symbol to be effective on or about Monday July 7, 2008.
