TSX creeps higher after weak start

TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose shortly after the open on Tuesday morning, helped higher by firmer oil and gas shares.

TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose shortly after the open on Tuesday morning, helped higher by firmer oil and gas shares.

At 9:31 a.m., the S&P/TSX composite index was up 8.92 points at 10,485.69, after falling 2.32 points at the open.
