Provida Announces Interim Dividend

SANTIAGO, Chile--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Provida (NYSE: PVD) - Please be advised that the Board of Directors has approved the distribution of a Ch$57.58 per share interim dividend on account of 2009 fiscal year, it will be paid locally on October 30, 2009. This dividend is subject to a 35% additional withholding tax for foreign investors and subject to eventual future tax credits for the 2009 fiscal year, which will be determined on April 2010.

Each ADS represents fifteen shares. Local record date will be October 24, 2009.
